Esther Craven, MT-BC
WHY I'M A MUSIC THERAPIST:
Music made a incredible difference in my life when I was a teenager and college student, coping with family issues and the death of grandparents. Music was my support every time I needed it. Now, I get to help folks find relief and level-up by connecting to music. It's pretty much the best job ever.
WHAT I'M REALLY GOOD AT:
Singing. And helping people work through anxiety and low self esteem.
MUSIC I LIKE:
One of my super powers is making themed playlists, and right now I'm obsessed with the band AJR, Chance the Rapper and Billie Ellish.
ME, AS A PERSON:
When I'm not running the practice, you can find me drinking coffee, reading, bullet journaling, or watching the latest season of Grey's Anatomy. I adore hot air balloons, aerial circus arts, and cuddles with my dog. I come from a huge family (nine siblings), and this year I'm taking on the challenge of reading 100 books.
Two Bachelors - Psychology & Music Therapy from SMU. I interned with MusicWorx in San Diego.
